Clark Street Crossroads Study
The final Clark Street Crossroads Corridor Study plan was adopted by the Chicago Plan Commission on March 16, 2023.
The planning process included robust analysis and community engagement to determine opportunities, constraints, and priorities for development, programming, and public realm improvements along the corridor. From this collective work, stakeholders collaboratively developed a framework for longterm decision making. This report summarizes that framework and provides recommendations for implementation.
The Clark Street Crossroads study will be used by property owners, developers, public entities, and community partners for public and private investments along the corridor. Through incremental steps over time, the Clark Street corridor will evolve into a more vibrant destination and neighborhood thoroughfare.
In 2023, Clark Street Crossroads received an AIA Illinois Honor Award for excellence in master planning.
