Hairpin Lofts combines 28 rental units, an 8,000-square-foot community arts center and 7,000 square feet of retail space in the heart of the Milwaukee-Kimball-Diversey Historic District in the Avondale community. Developed by Brinshore Development and Anixter Center and opened in November 2011, the $15.4 million adaptive reuse project was the result of a DPD-issued RFP for the former Morris B. Sachs office building.
