Cicero/Stevenson TIF

The Cicero/Stevenson TIF consists of about 65 acres of vacant land in the Garfield Ridge community. Generally bounded by I-55, 45th Street, Cicero Avenue, and portions of Laramie and Lavergne avenues, the district is intended to support the land’s transition from former public housing to a mixed-use, mixed-income environment. Funds will be primarily used for grocery and retail development, health care options, and public realm improvements.
