CHAPTER IX EXEMPT POSITION HIRING PROCESS A. Applicability and Principles 1. Exempt Positions are those where any factor may be considered in actions covered by this Employment Plan and Other Employment Actions, unless otherwise prohibited by law, and are listed on the Exempt List, which is attached as Exhibit D. 2. DHR shall maintain a list of Classes and updated Class Specifications where use of the process detailed in this chapter is allowed.
