Mayor Rahm Emanuel today released the following statement regarding Time Out rating Chicago the “World’s Best City for Having it All” for the second year in a row.

“For the second consecutive year, Chicago has been recognized as the 'World’s Best City for Having it All.' Chicagoans already know we live in the world’s greatest city, so it was no surprise we were awarded the top spot for the affordability and quality of life in our neighborhoods, our world-class culture and restaurants, and the accessibility and reliability of our transit. Chicago continually comes out on top, whether as Bon Appétit’s 'Restaurant City of the Year,' Condé Nast’s 'Best Big City in the U.S.' or as the top city on Redfin’s recent ranking of cities with the best neighborhoods. At the end of the day, no place in the world beats Chicago because no one can compete with the work ethic and character of Chicagoans.”
