U.S. News & World Report today released its 2019 Best Hotel Rankings with The Peninsula Chicago and Four Seasons Hotel being named among the top five in the country.

“Chicago is welcoming a record number of tourists to our city, creating a record number of jobs in the hospitality industry, and earning national and global acclaim for all we have to offer. The fact that two of the top five hotels in America, and three of the top ten, are here in Chicago is another shot in the arm for Chicago tourism. We congratulate the teams at the hotels and look forward to continuing to welcome visitors from across the country and around the world to experience what Chicago has to offer.”

The rankings evaluate more than 30,000 luxury hotels and resorts across the U.S., Europe, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean. Three Chicago hotels earned spots among the top ten hotels in the U.S., including the Peninsula Chicago (#2), the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago (#5) and the Langham Chicago (#7).
