In 2023, @ChicagoDPD completed the first phase of the 2024 Central Area Plan Update, including a visioning process driven by community input.

As a result, DPD completed an Existing Conditions and Trends Report and drafted vision statements to guide the second phase of the project. These materials are now open for public comment.

All Chicagoans can submit comments by February 1, 2024. Visit Chicago.gov/CAP2024 to share your feedback.
