Please join the CDPH’s Disease Control Bureau for the 25th annual Disease Control Conference on Tuesday, September 19th. This conference is a free one-day advanced continuing education program on the progression of communicable disease control and lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic in Chicago. The event will occur at Malcolm X College in the Illinois Medical District from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Federal, state, and local leaders in public health and disease control will discuss trending topics of local and national importance, including infectious disease epidemiology, application of research findings to programs and practice, and strategic public health interventions among communicable diseases.
